Keep Growing
“What does this day hold?” you might say,
“Don’t want rain, want sunshine in which to play!”
But if only sunshine, the earth would be hard as clay.
The soil needs the rain to soften for plants to thrive,
Nothing can grow, without moisture, it just won’t survive.
“Likewise my children,” God would say,
“Grow in Jesus MY Sunshine everyday…
Raise your face to the rain of My Spirit, that falls
To soften and nourish your soul, so love can thrive.”
No one can grow without God, you just won’t survive.
Let Him tend you, (which also means you’ll be pruned) and guide you,
To the finished bloom,
What delight you will bring with your lovely perfume!
