“The King would like to set the record straight…

angels exist it’s true,

they come and go through heaven’s gate…

only at His bidding and His Will.

You cannot pray to angels,

for protection over you,

they only answer to God’s commands…

to do what he says is true.

The name itself shows you the meaning of their office,

it signifies messenger, or one sent,

they are ‘God’s ministers, who do His pleasure.’

They exulted in the advent of the Saviour-

“Glory to God in the highest”,

they gladly revealed His resurrection;

they study the mysteries of the cross… ( Peter.1:12. )

They are active and powerful,

hence they fly to do God’s bidding. ( Daniel 3:28. & Daniel 6:22)

Angels are the servants of God to execute His pleasure…

God wants them to minister to His children,

they counsel and instruct= Genesis16:10, Genesis22:11, 2Kings 1:3, 15.

Luke 1:11, Matthew 1 :20 , Acts 5:19, Acts 10:3.

They comfort= Daniel 10: 18, 19. Acts 27:23,24.

They delivered= Lot from Sodom; Daniel from the lion’s den; and Peter and the apostles from prison.

They were the attendants of the Saviour at His birth- baptism-temptation-transfiguration-agony-death-resurrection-and ascention into heaven.

They rejoice= in the conversion of sinners,

bear the souls of the saints to the mansions of glory!

They are destined= to attend Christ at His second coming,

and witness the judgment of the world at the great day.

They are also instruments of the divine vengeance.

ie= destruction of the Assyrian army,

the death of the persecuting Herod-Acts 12:23.

Christians have the privilege of angelic ministration-Hebrews 1:13,14.

They will be the companions of the redeemed in glory forever.”
