Deep calleth unto Deep
“I will shout the Words of God!”
Genesis 1:1-2. (KJV)
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
Psalms 42: 7, 8. (KJV)
Deep calleth unto Deep at the noise of thy waterspouts: all thy waves and thy billows are gone over me. Yet the LORD will command his lovingkindness in the daytime, and in the night his song shall be with me, and my prayer unto the God of my life.
“The Lord is calling to you…let your prayer be unto Him.”
Jonah 2: 7, 9. (KJV)
When my soul fainted within me I remembered the LORD: and my prayer came in unto thee, into thine holy temple. But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving, I will pay that that I have vowed. Salvation is of the LORD.
Psalms 92: 5. (KJV)
O LORD, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep.
“Whale watchers… the next level is putting down the hydrophone, listening to their calls and songs!
When we cry to Him: ‘Are you there?’ ‘If you’re real, answer me?’
He calls back!”
Jeremiah 33:3. (KJV)
Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
“People are in awe when they hear the sounds of the deep, the cries of the whales and dolphins. They set out on a trip with the purpose of locating these creatures and hearing them. People who set out to locate God and hear him, who cry out to Him…. hear Him! Don’t be like those pleasure seekers on their speed boats and jet ski’s, rushing about on the surface, making waves and noise; never stopping to go deeper. All they hear is their own noise.”
1 Corinthians 2: 9, 10. (KJV)
But as it is written, eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
“Of course the next level for whale watchers, and listeners…
is to swim with the whales!”
Spurgeon said: “The Lord Jesus is a deep sea of joy: my soul shall dive therein, shall be swallowed up in the delights of His society.”
2 Corinthians 4: 6. (KJV)
For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
“Oyez!” “Oyez!”
