The Fog will lift
“Go to the Rock!”
“When an area is covered with a blanket of fog, you can’t see clearly. Nothing has changed in your environment, only that you can’t see clearly ’til the fog lifts. In the ‘7o’s there was a TV show called ‘Sykes’. A brother and sister who shared the family home. In one episode , Hattie went out looking for Eric in the fog. She was a large lady. She tied some rope to the sofa and then around her torso, and set off. She went a long way, calling for Eric , suddenly the fog lifts and there she is pulling the sofa behind her! ‘
“I wonder what you tie yourself to when a fog surrounds you?”
“When you can’t see your way clearly, what do you anchor yourself to?”
“Is it the Rock Christ Jesus?”
“Or are you dragging a dead weight that will cause you to get lost?”
“The State Government of Victoria, ( Australia) ran an ad, showcasing Melbourne, their capital city. A young woman sets out with a gigantic ball of red wool, and weaves her way through the scenic sights and streets of Melbourne. ‘Come Discover’ for yourself. She crosses the path of a young man with a ball of blue wool! Imagine if we were all doing that! What a tangled mess we’d be in. Tripping over all those thousands of criss-crossing wools! People all going their own way. Picture it. Everyone either dragging the sofa, or rolling a gigantic ball of wool! “
Chaos!
“If you could see into the spirit realm, that’s what it would look like!
Substitutes for the real thing.”
2 Samuel 22: 2,3. (KJV)
And he said, The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;
The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my Saviour, thou savest me from violence.
1 Corinthians 10: 4. (KJV)
And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual ROCK that followed them: and that ROCK was Christ.
Those anchored to the ‘Rock’ , go in and out securely. They know where they are going and they are safe. Jesus is the abiding presence with them all their days. They return to their safe haven each night, nothing has changed, they know the way back home.
Likewise they also can hang the scarlet thread out of their window !?
It protects them from destruction by the enemy.
Joshua 2: 18, 21. (KJV)
Behold, when we come into the land, thou shalt bind this line of scarlet thread in the window which thou didst let us down by: and thou shalt bring thy father, and thy mother, and thy brethren, and all thy father’s household, home unto thee.
And she said, According unto your words, so be it.
And she bound the scarlet line in the window.
“That scarlet line weaves itself all through the Old Testament and into the New!
It represents the Blood of Jesus, who died for You!”
“Oyez!” “Oyez!”
