God’s Town Crier

“Oyez.” “Oyez.” “Oyez.”

What do we long for? Hope for? Some talent scout that will stop us in the street? “Excuse me, I can’t help but notice you! We’d like to offer you an incredible contract! You’re the ‘Face’ of tomorrow!” It does happen, but only to a few people. We long for recognition, for some proof that we are important, that we have a place in the scheme of things…You want incredible; amazing?…GOD LOVES YOU!  Isn’t that absurd?! That the God who made heaven and earth, loves you. It’s astonishing to think that He calls you aside and says…”Excuse me , I can’t help but notice you! I’d like to offer you an incredible contract! You’re the ‘Face’ of tomorrow!” Astounding; far-fetched; Great! How extraordinary that would be. What contract? “Well it has been signed in blood, and all that I (God) have is signed over to you. It cost Me everything. You are chosen to be the ‘Face’ of tomorrow in My Family!” Preposterous; superb; unbelievable! Yet it is so. The impossible, inconceivable, has happened… ‘God so loved the world, that He gave his only Son, that whosoever believes in Him ( Jesus), should not perish but have eternal life.’ Wonderful! You are chosen.
