Hello! my name is Jennifer Chattaway I was born on October 31st 1950, the year the Korean war started!  That makes me mature aged I suppose. My maiden name was Pallot (French)  I can trace my family tree back to Versailles, France. Where my ancestor  was the  private physician of King Louis14th. ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G93EhIGlVS0&feature ) .From France some of my fathers family moved to a beautiful Island called Guernsey, in the Channel Islands, just off of the coast of France.(www.guernseytouristboard.com/whereweare )My  Dad  was an aircraft mechanic, stationed in the far north of Scotland at a remote place called Kinloss.  I was born in a little town called Forres,( www.forresweb.net) near Kinloss. We lived in a lovely village called Findhorn on the coast close to all these towns.  Of course we were posted on every 2yrs in the Royal Air Force, so I lived in some incredible places, during my childhood. When I was 2yrs old we lived in Aden, then in Nottingham, England ( famous for Robin Hood ). At 7yrs of age I moved to Nairobi in East Africa . I loved Africa! It touches your soul, and you can never be the same!  Here’s a clip that captures some of how I feel:

Then my family  went back to England to Bury St Edmunds in  Suffolk.(  www.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bury_St_Edmunds ) When Dad left the Air Force, the travel bug was still biting, so they moved to Sydney, in NSW, Austalia. Dad had a job with Qantas Airlines. We then came to Adelaide, South Australia,( www.adelaide.com.au  ) where I am presently living. All these experiences are great and I wouldn’t change a thing, but now as a christian I’m grafted into the family tree of God, the lineage of Jesus!  At age 17  I married Lawrence, we have been married for 41yrs and have  6 children, 5 grandchildren. I gave my heart to Jesus in 1978, and love Him more and more as time goes on. This website was His idea! Everyday I get up early  to spend time with God, He longs for us to come near. Journaling daily I can look  back to see how He is leading me. I wrote in my journal on the 1st of July 2008, these words, ”I am a simple woman with a basic education, yet God can use me to confound the wise. The words ‘Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace, goodwill to men.’ came to me.( Luke Ch 2:7-20), Angels proclaimed the Good News of Jesus birth. God spoke to simple, humble shepherds, “Go and see and  tell the  people that a saviour is born.”  And the shepherds returned, glorifying & praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them. (I thought those shepherds were like town criers proclaiming the news from the King).

”That’s what I want you to do“.

My ‘call’ to the sphere of ‘God’s Town Crier’.
