Prayer
“Oyez!” “Oyez!” “Oyez!”
PSALM 95:6.
O come, let us worship and bow down:
let us kneel before the LORD our maker. (KJV)
“When you bow down and kneel before God, it is impossible to be proud, haughty, high minded.
Kneeling and bowing makes you realize how big and awesome God is, and yet He looks on you!
With a soft heart, a repentant heart,
you will be open to hear God speak to you.
PSALM131: 1.
LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty:
neither do I exercise myself in great matters,
or in things too high for me. (KJV)
A person sits sewing by hand, it is slow, limited by their abilities.
One person certainly can’t mass produce to provide for the needs of others.
Spasmodic prayer is like that hand sewer…
achieving little in their own strength.
Another person will use a hand operated sewing machine!
It’s faster, achieves more, but still needs one hand to guide the material.
Some have progressed to the Treadle machine.
All you have to do is use your feet!
Leaving both hands free to manipulate the material!
Electric?
Faster still,
no sweat!
If professional,
they’ll have the latest ‘you beaut’ model.
Does everything, plus embroiders!
Bring in the BIG GUNS …
the Industrial machine
stiches through canvas, leather.
Churning out for the masses!
On your knees before God: frees you from those types of prayers.
You try sewing whilst on your knees.
He will draw near to you,
as you humble yourself and draw near to Him. ( James4:6-8. KJV)
Lose yourself in His Presence.
He’ll give you the pattern for that day.
All the sewing ‘aids’ you’ll need: His promises in the Scriptures.
Be the cloth guided by His hand,
cut according to the warp and woof of the material
to produce the best.
”Oyez!” “Oyez!”
